Let's jump right in to this one. Here are your picks against the spread for the late games on Sunday for NFL week 6. The lines are courtesy of Bovada.
New England Patriots -4 vs. Seattle Seahawks
No longer is the NFC West the doormat division of the NFL. In fact, they are currently the only division to have a combined +.500 record. The Seahawks, despite having their ups and downs this season, play really well at home. In fact, I would venture to say that they have the best home field advantage in all of football. The Patriots look to be back on track offensively, but can they stop the Seahawks' great pass rush? Take Seattle and the points at home.
Buffalo Bills +5 vs. Arizona Cardinals
Again, I am going to go with an NFC West team on this one. The Cardinals are at home once again and looking to avenge their first loss of the season against the Bills. Also, the Bills have allowed even the worst of offenses, such as the Jets, to score a lot of points on them. Take the Cardinals minus five.
Minnesota Vikings vs. Washington Redkins
There is currently no line for this game, probably due to the uncertainty surrounding Robert Griffin III. To me, it does not matter if he plays. I like the Vikings to win this game. If they are given points on the road, take them.
New York Giants vs. San Francisco 49ers
Again, this game does not have a line. The 49ers are rolling right now and are perhaps the best team in the NFL. Take them to beat the Giants, but only if the points are reasonable. Anything over 4 and this may be a game you want to stay away from.
Green Bay Packers +3 vs. Houston Texans
Last season, this may have been a difficult selection, but this year, I will take the Texans all the way on this one. The Packers cannot protect Aaron Rodgers at all and the Texans feature a premiere defense. They also have a pretty dang good offense, so I would take the Texans minus 3 all day.
Good luck!
