ASU vs Colorado score update: Sun Devils get back on track, lead 34-17 after third

The Arizona State Sun Devils came out of the locker room invigorated and motivated, extending their lead to 34-17 with only one quarter left to play.

It all began with Rashad Ross returning the opening kickoff entirely untouched for a 100-yard score. From there, it was clear this was a more focused ASU team.

After an exchange of some punts, QB Taylor Kelly lead his team on a 11-play, 76-yard drive, showcasing his underrated running ability in the process. The Sun Devils would conclude it with Marion Grice getting his third receiving touchdown reception of the day on a well-timed screen pass (20 yards).

Much of the Devils second half resurgence can be directed towards their defense as the unit forced five incompletions from Jordan Webb in the quarter leading to three straight three-and-outs in the process. ASU's quick strike attack has been working almost flawlessly too with Colorado holding the ball for nearly four more minutes but still being down three scores.

The Buffaloes will be punting to Arizona State to begin the final quarter following a Brandon Magee sack on third and four.
