Rodney Dangerfield is known for talking about getting 'no respect'. The same could be applied to the undefeated Arizona Cardinals and those setting the line for their Thursday night game against the 2-2 St. Louis Rams. Sure they narrowly defeated the Miami Dolphins in overtime, but a win's a win, right? At opening, the Cards were favored by only 2.5 on the Rams. The over/under is set at 38 1/2.
In each of their four wins, Arizona has scored no less than 20 points; however, they haven't been able to score above 27 points in any of the games. Three of the four victories have come at a margin no greater than four points.
St. Louis has shown it can score a lot of points, with their highest point total being 31. Yet they keep their games close. With the exception of one blow-out loss, the Rams have had a margin between four to six points in a win or a loss.
It's a short preparation week for Arizona and St. Louis. Their contest is on Thursday night in St. Louis. Kick off is at 8:20 p.m. ET.
