Have to give props to the Phoenix Suns for listening.
↵The complaints have been streaming in from both Suns players and opponents after Grant Hill slipped on their home floor twice in the season opener saying that the floor was too slippery.
↵Though steps have been taken the past three home games to help with the problem including cleaning the floor and adding walk-off sticky mats behind each goal, the Suns are taking it a step forward while the Suns are on the road to face the Los Angeles Lakers, as told to the Arizona Republic.
↵↵↵"We'll take the court to the Phoenix Convention Center and put a new coat of finish on it," said Alvan Adams, the Suns' vice president of facility management. "It'll give it a better look and we're not so much looking for aesthetics right now. It's the performance. It's going to make it grab more. That should solve it."
↵
Adams, a former NBA player, works hard in his position and good for him. Injuries are already of higher concern with a shortened season and the Suns are looking out for both their own players and well as those of other teams.
↵Kudos.
