It looks like the contributions of former Arizona Wildcats star Andre Iguodala did not go unnoticed.
↵Iguodala, who served as a high-energy, athletic, defensive stalwart who could play three positions for the 2010 Team USA World Championships team, is among the 20 players who are finalists to make the 2012 Olympic team.
↵Watching Iguodala on that team was a sight to see. It was role built for his skill-set. Instead of being the focal point of an offense and the fourth quarter scorer he is forced to be on the Philadelphia 76ers, Iguodala was able to do what he does best - run the floor, play defense and bring energy. He proved himself on that team and his versatility was truly an asset.
↵Whether he makes the final roster is a longshot, but at least he knows that he showed them what he can do when he dons the Red, White and Blue. Colors he already became familiar with in the desert.
