The P.F. Chang's Rock & Roll marathon and half-marathon are set to begin Sunday at 7:30 a.m. And although you may not be participating this year, you may want to brace yourself for what expects to be some major traffic due to road closures.

Both the marathon and the half-marathon will begin at approximately 7:30 a.m. with the marathon beginning at City Scape in downtown Phoenix and the half-marathon starting at Mill Avenue and 3rd Street. Each will also end at Packard Drive directly between Sun Devil and Sun Angel Stadiums.

This, as you're probably well aware, means that much of the greater downtown Phoenix and Tempe areas will be quite difficult to navigate through. For exact closures and times, please follow this link.

If you're instead interested in being a spectator for this memorable competition, you can follow this link for more information on where to set up camp. And if you're a fan of live music, there will be a different band at every mile. the most notable of which is the B-52's who will be preforming a concert at the finish line.
