Kirk Gibson has found a lineup that works for him.
Losing 8-1 on Sunday to the San Francisco Giants with a starting lineup pieced together with bench players, Gibby has returned to the lineup that won the first two games of the series in AT&T Park.
Paul Goldschmidt continues to occupy the seventh spot in the batting order. While only hitting .200 in his first three Major League games, Goldschmidt has impressed his team and the fanbase with his confidence and ability.
Goldschmidt hit a home run off of Tim Lincecum, driving in two runs and giving the D-backs a lead they would not relinquish.
