Braylon Edwards' Entourage Involved In Fork Fight Sunday

On Monday it looked like Braylon Edwards was headed to the Arizona Cardinals. His good friend Kerry Rhodes all but said he was in Arizona already and teased an up-coming announcement. Then as the day progressed we saw reports that Edwards wanted a long-term deal while the Cardinals were only willing to offer him a one-year contract.

The story gets a bit more interesting Tuesday morning with reports that some of Edwards' friends were involved in a fight in a Birmingham, MI bar at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday. People with Edwards got into some kind of fight with employees of the establishment that resulted in workers being stabbed with knives and forks.

Edwards, according to the report from a Fox affiliate in Detroit, wasn't involved at all and wasn't even interviewed by police. Braylon's phone did involve itself via Twitter:

Around that same time, Edwards tweeted, "Damn. Get ya knuckles ready" and "Don't fight if. You don't know how."

Edwards later deleted the tweets and claimed his phone was hacked. Edwards already had some marks on his record:

Edwards was arrested last September for driving drunk in New York City. This past June, the Jets receiver was involved in a minor accident on Belle Isle.

You could see why the Cardinals might want to only give Edwards a short-term deal despite his talent.
