Arizona Wildcats Lead For 2013 SG Tyree Robinson

Tyree Robinson is still young and developing as a player, but it looks like the Arizona Wildcats are already expressing interest in him. The San Diego guard who plays at Lincoln (but also with the fabled Oakland Soldiers AAU squad) took an unofficial to Tucson and loved what he saw. PointGuardU interviewed Robinson after his visit and he was doing everything except chanting "U-of-A!" in his answers.

"I like the school and I really like the relationship I have with the coaches," said Robinson. "What I like most is they kept it straight up with me."

...

"Coach Miller loves me and said I can fit into the up tempo style of play," Robinson said. "He said he likes that I do whatever it takes to win and that I do the small things to lead my team to victory."

...

"After the visit Arizona is on the top of my list and I have a great feel for it," Robinson told PGU. "I love Mckale and it doesn't matter who Arizona plays it's always going to be a packed house."

Robinson is currently one of the top 20 players in the Class of 2013 by Rivals and seems poised for a breakout season. The offers should soon start popping his way from the major schools if all goes well. Already standing tall at 6'4", Robinson is showing definite elite-level athletics in many facets of his game when you watch him on tape.

Now the question is, will Arizona offer him? All indications are that if Robinson gets that, he'd be ready to sign to Tucson on the spot. Regardless of whether Robinson ends up in Arizona or not, it's pretty big that Miller is able to generate that much love for Arizona this early in the process.
