The 24th ArenaBowl, which is the championship game for the Arena Football League, has been an exciting one after a half of play. The Arizona Rattlers currently trail the Jacksonville Sharks 32-28 at halftime, though the game certainly isn't over. A lot of scoring can happen in a hurry in the AFL.
↵The Rattlers took an early lead but trailed 32-31 with just a minute left. Fortunately, the team was able to march the football down the short field and connected on a touchdown to cut the deficit to just four points. Head coach Kevin Guy was pleased with his team's efforts in the first half, but he hopes to see better play out of his defense in the upcoming half.
↵A wild second half went back and forth between the two teams. The Rattlers held a 70-67 lead with just seconds remains. With just two seconds on the clock and Jacksonville on the 10-yard line, quarterback Aaron Garcia dodged a sack and found an open receiver in the end zone. Jeron Harvey made the catch and the Sharks took the lead with no time left on the clock.
↵A crushing defeat for the Rattlers, but it was a wild game. They can only look to build off the tough loss and get better for next season.
