Phoenix Native Kenny Dobbs Soars To Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown Semifinals

The third annual Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown features some of the finest amateur dunkers around the country. From the hundreds of dunkers who filled the field in April, ten semifinalists have been selected. Among them is Phoenix native Kenny "The Dunk Inventor" Dobbs.

The 26-year old Dobbs, who stands at 6'3", qualified in Los Angeles, joining seven other semifinalists who also punched their tickets by winning Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown qualifiers in various U.S. cities over the past few months. Two other semifinalists have been chosen by a panel of judges from their online entries.

Here's a look at all ten semifinalists. You can find Kenny from 0:17 to 0:24.
