Charles Barkley Wants To Beat Up Fans And Other Great Ideas For The NBA

NBA Lockout? Who cares. Charles Barkley is going on the Golf Channel's David Feherty Show (Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. local time) to talk about all kinds of things. Being Charles, he of course has plenty of good ideas.

↵

For example, asked by Feherty what he would do if he were the commissioner of the NBA, The Chuckster had an interesting idea on how to clean up the game.

↵

"I would have a rule that once a game you get to go pick somebody out of the stands and beat the hell out of them...I get to pick one fan per game to come down here to half court and say what you just said to me. I would love that rule," Sir Charles said.

↵

Not a bad idea.

↵

But how about this for a rule, every game the fans gets to pick one player who's been dogging it on defense and make them run suicide sprints at half time. I would love that rule, but I'm guessing Charles wouldn't have cared for it too much back in his playing days.
