MLB All-Star Game Starting Lineups Announced

There's been a lot of changes to the All-Star rosters since the starters and reserves were announced in the big selection show on July 3. By last count, at least 10 replacements have been made to the American and National League rosters. It's difficult to keep up.

With all the changes due to injury, pitching schedules, or lack of interest on the part of those picked (Derek Jeter), the original starting lineups as voted by the fans has changed. The managers for both teams announced their new starting lineups on Monday.

Skippers Bruce Bochy and Ron Washington have tabbed the following players per an official MLB tweet:

National League: Weeks 2B, Beltran DH, Kemp CF, Fielder 1B, McCann C, Berkman RF, Holliday LF, Tulo SS, Rolen 3B, Halladay P

American League: Granderson CF, Cabrera SS, Gonzalez 1B, Bautista RF, Hamilton LF, Beltre 3B, Ortiz DH, Cano 2B, Avila C, Weaver P

Even the game is being played in a National League park, current rules dictate the use of the designated hitter so we will not get to see Roy Halladay, Jered Weaver or any of the other All-Star pitchers display their hitting prowess.
