Arizona Baseball Takes On Texas A&M In Regional Final

EDIT: Due to inclement weather, the game has been rescheduled to Tuesday, June 7 at 1:35 PM Eastern time.

The Arizona Wildcats baseball team are one win away from playing in a Super Regional. Florida State (45-17) awaits the winner of the Arizona/Texas A&M game that is set to begin after a rain delay subsides.

The Wildcats got off to a rough start on Friday night, losing 4-0 to Seton Hall. One loss away from elimination, Arizona rallied and rattled off 3 wins where they outscored their opposition 26-4.

On Sunday, Arizona staved off elimination and forced a decisive game by defeating the Aggies 7-4. Jett Bandy and Bobby Rinard both knocked in two runs, while long reliever Nick Cunningham threw 5.1 productive, scoreless innings to get the win. Bryce Ortega led the Wildcats with three hits.

Right now, there is a high likelihood of thunderstorms in College Station, Texas, that are holding back the start of this game. According to Weather.com, by 10:00 Central time the weather should clear up and be ready for baseball. Will the home team wait that long, or will the game be delayed until tomorrow?
