Phoenix Coyotes Schedule For 2011-2012 Holds A Few Surprises

The Phoenix Coyotes have announced their schedule for next season. As has been the case for several years, the Coyotes will play through an 82-game season, with 41 at home and 41 on the road. The season will start with three road games against fellow Western conference tams San Jose, Dallas, and Nashville before the Coyotes return home and kick off their home schedule by taking on the new Winnipeg franchise.

The Coyotes will play six games- three home, three away- against each of the four Pacific Division teams (Anaheim, Dallas, Los Angeles, and San Jose). Phoenix will play the other ten Western Conference teams four times each -two home, two away. They will face all of the Eastern Confernece teams at least once, and they will play the New York Rangers, the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Winnipeg franchise twice.

For the most part, weekday home games at Jobing.com Arena will begin at 7 p.m.. local time and Saturday home games will start at 6 p.m. local time. The only Sunday home game of the year- scheduled for March 25th, 2012 against the St. Louis Blues- will also start at 6 p.m.

The Coyotes are again offering Half Season Plans for this coming season. Packages start at just $21 per game and allow fans to pick a half-a-season's worth of games (21) with no blackout dates. Packages guarantee fans the same seat for each Coyotes regular season and playoff game, and they also give fans the opportunity to add extra games at the same price.
