Manny Pacquiao Cruises Through Shane Mosley, Floyd Mayweather Fighting Jail

On Saturday night Manny Pacquiao easily dispatched an elderly Shane Mosley in a 12 round unanimous decision. All Mosley could manage to do was cover up for most of the fight and avoid getting knocked out. Pacquiao was never challenged by the 39-year-old Mosley.

It's widely believed that Pacquiao's next fight will be against Juan Manual Marquez. Marquez has already been offered $5 million for the fight which would be the third for these two. Pacquiao drew with Marquez at featherweight. In the rematch at super featherweight Pacquiao on a split decision in a great fight.

Certainly a Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 would hold the promise of another great battle.

But the fight everyone wants is Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the ring with the world's best fighter, Manny Pacquiao. Unfortunately, that doesn't look like it's going to happen any time soon, if at all. Mayweather is too busy keeping himself out of jail to be worried about getting beat down by Pacquiao.

Mayweather, 34, has not fought since May 1, 2010, and currently has two trials semi-underway, continually being postponed. With Mayweather preoccupied fighting the law, circle November 12 on your calendar for Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3. Name recognition aside, that's the fight we should be pulling for.
