The 137th running of the Kentucky Derby is tomorrow, Saturday, May 7 at 6:24 p.m. Eastern time. With highly regarded colt Uncle Mo a scratch from the race, the odds for each horse have fluctuated a lot on Friday.
Those who have experienced the greatest rise on the charts have been Twice The Appeal and Pants On Fire, who both are hovering around 8/1 odds to win the race. Nehro currently has the second best chance to win according to the bookies, also around 8/1 odds.
Dialed In, a favorite for the past few days, is hovering at 9/2 odds. ArchArchArch, who has the inside position at the start of the race, is holding steady at 12/1.
This field is not filled with many superstar horses, which makes setting the odds a very precarious job. With half the field paying over 20/1 odds for a Win bet, this could be a very lucrative and exciting time for horse gamblers across the nation.
Shackleford's stock has dropped a great deal over the course of Friday, going from 12/1 to 20/1. Does someone know something we don't?
