Phoenix Suns Schedule Ends With The San Antonio Spurs

It's been a crazy season for the Phoenix Suns. Coming off a year when the team went to the Western Conference Finals, even with the loss of Amare Stoudemire, few in Phoenix thought we would be facing the 82nd game of the season hoping to get to a 40th win.

Getting that final win will take beating the best team in the West. Even though the Spurs will likely rest their starters now that they've sown up the top seed, their bench is far better than the Suns reserves and it's not as if this 2010-11 Phoenix team has been consistent this season.

Coach Alvin Gentry said Vince Carter (thigh) is a game-time decision while Mickael Pietrus is a scratch (quad). Robin Lopez didn't play in Monday's game against the Timberwolves so Gentry could get a look at Garret Siler in different situations. He said it was not punishment for Lopez and no message was being sent. Robin will play tonight as will Steve Nash and Grant Hill for at least part of the game.

The game tips at 7:00 p.m. local time on Fox Sports Arizona and will be broadcast on Sports 620 radio. Fans can follow along during the game with other Suns fans at the live game thread at Bright Side of the Sun.
