Arizona Diamondbacks Sell The Cheapest Beer In The League

I spent a good ten minutes 13 seconds trying to tell this story without making a joke about needing cheap beer to survive the dreadful performance on field. Fail.

Here's the deal according to sports business guru, Darren Rovell of CNBC: the Diamondbacks sell beer for 28.6 cents an ounce which is the best deal in the MLB.

Drink up!

The team also has one of the cheapest non-premium ticket prices ($15.74) in the league even after having some of the largest increases in ticket prices (10%).

When you are at Chase Field in May and you are frustrated over another bullpen explosion or the lack of timely hitting, just walk yourself over to the nearest beer vendor and drink down a cold one...and try to ignore the fact that 28.6 cents per ounce still comes to $3.43 for a 12 ounce beer that you can buy at the grocery for quite a bit less.
