The ASU Sun Devils have struggled in football and basketball but when it comes to baseball, the school has consistency performed well. Sun Devil baseball has a .713 winning percentage over their 52-year history. One would think that would earn the team more respect and attention and support locally then they receive. This year's team is 9-2 on the season so far and ranked ninth in the USA Today College Baseball Rankings

The Sun Devils won the PAC-10 last season with a stellar 52-10 (20-7 conf) record and are tied with Arizona in non-conference play this year. The Wildcats are ranked 17 in the Top 25 Baseball Poll.

ASU was found guilty of major recruiting violations this offseason and are banned from post-season play in 2011.
