College Baseball Rankings: Arizona State And Arizona Both In Top 25

The boys from Arizona continue to do well on the diamond as both the Wildcats and ASU Sun Devils are ranked in the in this week's Baseball America's Top 25. Conference play has begun around the country and is about to kickoff in the Pac-10. So far, so good for the two desert teams.

ASU is ranked six in the nation and sports a 15-4 record while the U of A is 15th in the country with a 16-5 tally.

SB Nation's College Baseball Writer, Jeff Asher, has this to say about the two schools:

6. Arizona State - The Sun Devils had a terrific week, sweeping Oklahoma in a mini midweek series before taking two of three games against always pesky Oral Roberts. The schedule stays tough this week as ASU travels to Cal State Fullerton for another mini midweek series before returning home to face PAC-10 foe Arizona next weekend.

15. Arizona - The Bearcats got swept in a midweek series at Wichita State then took the first two games of a Sat-Mon series against way over matched San Francisco (14-0, 7-0). Zona will need more than a suspiciously quick five second count to beat conference foe and in-state rival Arizona State next weekend at ASU.
