After 6:30 p.m. (third event), TNT: NBA, Foot Locker Three-Point Contest: All-Star Weekend takes full flight today with the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest. Paul Pierce looks to defend his title from last year against a talented field of shooters including Ray Allen, Kevn Durant, Daniel Gibson, James Jones and Dorell Wright. This contest should get really interesting if Boston Celtics' teammates Allen and Pierce advance to the final three: you know that bragging rights will be on the line.
After 6:30 p.m. (fourth event), TNT: NBA, Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. This year's crop of dunkers features four explosive players: Blake Griffin, DeMar DeRozan, Serge Ibaka and JaVale McGee. Griffin has been dominating highlight reels all season, and he's definitely the favorite to win this event in just his rookie season. The other contestants will have to put up some exciting dunks to make this competition interesting.
Other fun events to check out tonight after the jump.
