NFL Week 17 is finally here. It's been a long season with a lot of ugly football but when it comes to picking against the spread, none of that matters. We don't care who wins or losses, just by how much. We are coming off a tough week where we went 7-9 ATS but that still puts us at 128-121 for the season with our picks against the Vegas spread.
Here's picks for the first bunch of games for the final week of the NFL regular season. We'll be back Wednesday and Thursday with the rest of this week's picks.
Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans (+1): The Texans at 10-5 have clinched their division but are seeing the effects of having to start their third-string QB while the Titans (8-7) are still fighting for a Wildcard spot. Pick: Titans
Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars (-5): The Colts absolutely can't afford another win if they hope to remain in the "Suck for Luck" sweepstakes. They've won two games, which might be one too many with the Rams also now in the mix at 2-13. If the Colts don't tank this game, than we have to question the meaning of the word. Pick: Jaguars
New York Jets at Miami Dolphins (-1): The Jets blew their chance to take hold of their playoff fortunes by losing to the Giants last week. That team has been inconsistent and a real disappointment this season and Rex Ryan should be on the hot seat. Pick: Dolphins
Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots (-13): Do the Patriots have enough to play for to win this game by such a big spread? We don't think so. Pick: Patriots
Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers (n/a): No line has been set for this game yet so we'll go with the obvious and pick the Packers to win. Pick: Packers
Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (n/a): No line has been set for this game yet either and with both teams dealing with huge injuries, it's a stumble to the finish. We'll go with the home team to win. Pick: Vikings
