Arizona junior forward Solomon Hill has done it again.
Today, Hill was named Bank of the West Pac-12 Men's Basketball Player of the Weik for Dec. 19-25 for the second time this season after the Los Angeles native led Arizona to wins over Oakland and Bryant last week. Hill also won the award on Dec. 5 and is the 82nd all-time selection for Arizona.
Hill averaged 18 points on 14-of-24 shooting (58.3%), nine rebounds, 3.5 assists and one block per game in the two wins, helping push Arizona to a 9-4 record, just as non-conference games come to an end.
Hill's 23 points and 11 rebounds in Arizona's 85-73 win over Oakland on Tuesday both were career-highs. He also put up 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists, a block and a steal in the 100-60 rout over Bryant on Thursday.
Other players nominated this week were Colorado's Spencer Dinwiddle, Stanford's Josh Owens, Oregon State's Devon Collier and UCLA's Lazeric Jones.
