While usually taking backseat to the Fiesta Bowl in talent level of participating teams, this year's Insight Bowl set to be played at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona at 7 p.m.on December 30th may turn out to be very interesting for different reasons. With the fourth best team in the Big 12 set to face off against the fourth best team in the Big 10, it's looking like a certain university whose football team has been the center of much public criticism recently may be making its way to the desert.

According to current projections, the Baylor Bears (9-3) are set to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions (9-3). If you somehow haven't heard, there's no need to rehash the much-publicized story here but just know that the Lions will be without Joe Paterno and his 409 career collegiate wins for this potential match up. But in light of some recent trouble with the bowl organization in charge of the selecting the teams for the Insight Bowl (A.K.A the Fiesta Bowl), many are doubting that this paring will even happen.

It sounds like this determination will occur soon after Sunday's BCS selection show but for now, it is very much up in the air who will represent the Big-10 in the 23rd running of this event.
