Benavidez struck for knockdowns in three different rounds of the six-round bout against Santana. The fight was part of the Pacquiao-Marquez undercard Nov. 12 at the MGM in Vegas.
↵Benavidez is the big name on a card that features several local fighters on Feb. 3, including Juanito Gonzalez, Javier Loya and Fernando Samaniego Jr.
↵Aso, promising lightweight Xavier "Mongoose" Montelongo Jr., with one pro fight and one win to his credit, makes his Arizona debut. Montelongo hails from East Los Angeles.
