UFC 140: Preview, Schedules, And Betting Odds

UFC 140 takes place tonight from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada. The main event features Jon Jones vs. Lyoto Machida for the UFC Light Heavyweight Title. Jones will be making the second defense of his title that he won earlier this year against Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.

Machida, who held the belt May 2009 to May 2010, is looking to upset the young champion who has seemed unbeatable so far this year.

The co-main event features two veteren heavyweights looking to make a run at one last title shot. Frank Mir faces Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Mir has won two fights in a row since his last loss to Shane Carwin. Nogueira upset Brandan Schaub this past August at UFC 134

Longtime UFC veteren Tito Ortiz will look to continue his career resurgence as he battles against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Ortiz saved his career with a victory over Ryan Bader at UFC 132. Nogueira is on a two fight losing streak, his most recent win came against Jason Brilz at UFC 114.

The main event begins at 7 PM Arizona time and is available on pay-per-view. UFC 140 begins with three bouts on Facebook beginning at 3:45 PM Arizona time. Four fights will be available on ION Television beginning at 5 PM Arizona time.
