Two more fighters punched their tickets to the live Ultimate Fighter Season 14 Finale last night. John Dodson and Diego Brandao both scored knockout victories securing their spot in the finale which airs on Spike Saturday night.
John Dodson secured his way into the finale with a second round knockout of Johnny Bedford. The two fighters competed in a highly competitive first round which saw both men landing shots and Bedford scoring a take down.
However, during an exchange in the second round, Dodson caught Bedford dropping him to the canvas and referee Herb Dean quickly stopped the fight. Dodson has two knockout wins in three victories while on show. Dodson will face T.J. Dillashaw in the finale for a guaranteed UFC contract.
Diego Brandao scored a first round victory over Bryan Caraway to book his spot in the finale. Brandao dominated Caraway in the first round to the point where Caraway could barely stand at the end of the fight. Brandao controlled the fight with his stand up striking as well as his ground and pound.
Four fights are now booked for Saturday night's show. Tony Ferguson takes on Yves Edwards in a lightweight contest. T.J. Dillashaw takes on John Dodson for the TUF season 14 bantamweight title, Diego Brandao faces Dennis Bermudez for the TUF season 14 featherweight crown.
The main event features a match up between the shows coaches. Michael Bisping faces Jason Miller in a middleweight contest. Bisping has been fighting in the UFC since 2006 and Miller will fight in the UFC for the first time since 2005.
