Arizona Basketball: Kevin Parrom Recovering Well, May Return In November

Nearly six weeks have passed since Kevin Parrom suffered two gunshot wounds in his leg. While some immediately wondered if the junior wing would miss his entire season, Sean Miller met with the media today and delivered a promising update on his recovery.

"Kevin is working out every day now," said Miller, "He has additional movement that he didn't have two weeks ago. He has almost his entire feeling back and he's made a lot of progress."

The head coach also suggested Parrom could return to practice sometime in the next week and did not rule out playing in Madison Square Garden on November 17 against St. Johns, which is just miles away from Parrom's childhood home in the Bronx. This would be a huge boost for UA in their one and only non-conference tournament of the season.

The update comes as great news for the Arizona Wildcats and it cannot be overstated how much this team will miss Parrom as he continues to recover. His health is obviously the primary concern for the team, but the sooner he gets back on the floor, the better.
