NFL Expert Picks, Week 9: Cowboys Can Cover Big Spread, Texans Won't

With virtually no fan fare at all, we give you our NFL Week 9 expert picks against the spread. You can take these picks and do with them what you will, but know that we are 59-51 ATS. You can pick against us in our weekly contest which you can join here (ID: 55411, PW: arizona).

Here's our picks for the Sunday morning games. We'll have the rest of the picks posted on Friday and here's our lock of the week.

New York Jets at Buffalo Bills (-1.5): This is a huge game for both teams and as we've seen over the Rex Ryan era, the Jets don't do well in huge games. Mix in home field and this one is a pretty easy call. Pick: Bills

Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys (-12): The question is pretty obvious, can Cowboys cover this huge spread? Given the 15 total points the Seahawks have score over their last two games, we don't think so even if Tavaris Jackson plays. Pick: Cowboys

Cleveland Browns at Houston Texans (-12.5): Same question as above except this time we don't think the Texas have it in them to put up enough points to cover. Pick: Browns

Atlanta Falcons at Indianapolis Colts (+7.5): Are you seeing a trend? Bad teams with huge spreads. The Colts have shown little to make us think they can cover against an Atlanta team that's approaching desperation. Pick: Falcons

Miami Dolphins at Kansas City Chiefs (-4): There was a point not too long ago when Todd Haley's head was on the chopping block, now they are tied for first in their division. The Dolphins? Not so much. Pick: Chiefs

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints (-8.5): This game is all about revenge. The Saints lost to the Bucs. The Saints lost to the Rams. No way the Saints lose this game, and if they do you can write them off. Pick: Saints

San Francisco 49ers at Washington Redskins (+4): The Redskins started the season with so much promise but eventually Bad Rex Grossman showed up and now it's all a mess. Pick: 49ers
