Week 12 of the college football TV schedule doesn't have the kind of huge games we saw on Saturday that last two week. No clashes between top-10 teams but that doesn't mean, as always, that the TV schedule won't fulfill your Saturday need for fun college football.
↵The morning starts with some good old Big 10 powerhouse teams playing games with important division implications. The Nebraska Cornhuskers (17) go to Michigan (20) to face the Wolverines at 12:00 p.m. ET on ESPN. Both of these teams are 4-2 in conference play and tied for second place in the Legends Division and just one game behind Michigan State who faces Indiana (1-9) this week and Northwestern (5-5) next.
↵In the Leaders Division of the Big Ten, Wisconsin (15) goes to Illinois to face a dangerous Illini team in a game that's also at 12:00 p.m. on ESPN 2. With Penn State leading the division but now dealing with their own issues, the door is open for the Badgers but they have to beat Illinois.
↵Speaking of Penn State (21), the Nittnay Lions will look to save their season despite all their non-football troubles. They got to Ohio State in a game on ABC at 3:30 p.m. ET. A Penn State loss clears the way for the Badgers to win the division when the two teams play next week.
↵There are two night games on tap as a warm-up for the Duel in the Desert. Oklahoma (5) is at Baylor (25) at 8:00 p.m. on ABC. Also on ABC at 8:00 p.m. is a big Pac-12 game between Oregon (4) and USC (18). So depending on where you live, you will get a solid game either way.
↵And finally, we of course will have the big game in Tempe between the Arizona State Sun Devils and the Arizona Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. local (10:30 p.m. ET) on Fox Sports Arizona. We have all the coverage for the battle for the Territorial Cup here.
