As the end of the NASCAR season draws to a close, the penultimate race of the Sprint Cup is shaping up to be anybody's race, though there are a few names at the top of the standings that are the odds-on favorites

Tony Stewart and the #14 Chevrolet are the favorites this Sunday at the Kobalt Tools 500 at the Phoenix International Raceway, sitting atop the odds at +600. Stewart is currently second in the Sprint Cup standings behind Carl Edwards, who just so happens to be second behind Stewart in the odds at +700 along with defending five-time Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson, who sits 49 points behind Edwards in the Sprint Cup standings.

Jeff Gordon sits at +750 in the odds, while Kyle Busch remains a favorite this week as well, sitting at +850.  Despite all of the repercussions of his intentional crash last week in Texas,  oddsmakers feel that Busch can still get focused in time to take the title in Phoenix, even possibly without his main sponsor M&M's. We'll just have to wait and see.
