NFL Expert Picks Against The Spread: Cowboys Can Cover In New England

We've shared our picks for NFL Week 6 morning games and gave you our Lock of the Week. Now it's time to share our expert picks against the spread for the Sunday afternoon, evening and Monday Night Football game. You can pick against us in our weekly contest which you can join here (ID: 55411, PW: arizona).

Houston Texans at Baltimore Ravens (-8): Are the Ravens really this good? Well, they have a 15.5 point differential compared to 6.4 for the Texans and are at home. Pick: Ravens

Cleveland Browns at Oakland Raiders (-7): The Cleveland Browns aren't as bad as you think they are but they don't score a lot of points (18.5/gm) and the Raiders are really hard to stop at home. Pick: Raiders

Dallas Cowboys at New England Patriots (-7): The Cowboys are coming off a bye week which came at a great time for them. They are rested and hungry but in New England against Tom Brady? For all the talk about the passing yards allowed by New England, they give up fewer points than Dallas. This one is a tough call with conflicting info on both sides. In the end, the Patriots should win but won't cover. Pick: Cowboys

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+5): The Saints are a much better team and should be favored by more than five-points. Vegas must be accounting for a Tampa Bay bounce back after getting embarrassed in San Fran last week. Fair enough, but that doesn't change the fact that Drew Brees should be able to throw the ball at will against the Bucs 25th-ranked home passing defense. Pick: Saints

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears (-3): Not only will the Vikings cover, but they should win this game. Jared Allen and Brian Robinson will be in Jay Cutler's shorts all night. Pick: Vikings

Miami Dolphins at New York Jets (-7): The Jets have to be the worst team to pick and that's because they are terribly inconsistent and wildly insane. Wonder where they get that from, Rex? Still, Miami has nothing good going and on the road with Matt Moore. Pick: Jets
