Diamondbacks vs. Brewers: Game 1 Underway, 0-0 In 3rd Inning

The Diamondbacks and Brewers have announced their lineups for Game 1 of the NLDS. A surprising change at first base headlines the news for Arizona, while Casey McGehee sits for Milwaukee.

This is it for the Arizona Diamondbacks. The playoffs are officially here and manager Kirk Gibson has made a few surprise adjustments to his starting lineup as the team prepares for Brewers ace Yovani Gallardo. It is certainly not an easy task and getting Gallardo's pitch count up early in the contest will be crucial to coming away with a victory on Saturday.

As for the Brewers, the only real change comes at third base with Jerry Hairston Jr. starting instead of Casey McGehee. The key with Milwaukee is to contain -- or at least slow down -- the top of their order; if Corey Hart and Nyjer Morgan get on base in front of Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder, the Brew Crew typically puts a crooked number on the scoreboard. If the D-backs are indeed able to keep runners off base in front of Braun, Fielder and Rickie Weeks, they have a good chance to win.

Here are lineups for both teams:

Arizona:

Willie Bloomquist SS
Aaron Hill 2B
Justin Upton RF
Miguel Montero C
Chris Young CF
Lyle Overbay 1B
Ryan Roberts 3B
Gerardo Parra LF
Ian Kennedy RHP

Brewers:

Corey Hart RF
Nyjer Morgan CF
Ryan Braun LF
Prince Fielder 1B
Rickie Weeks 2B
Jerry Hairston 3B
Yuniesky Betancourt SS
Jonathan Lucroy C
Yovani Gallardo P

First pitch is scheduled at 11:07 a.m. for the D-backs.
