Mount Stevemore: Rank Your Favorite Phoenix Steve

Welcome to the SB Nation Arizona bi-annual Steve-a-thon.

While sitting in the press box with Jose Romero during the Oregon/ASU game, we ran into an urgent, life-altering question: who is Phoenix's favorite Steve?

Steven Threet certainly gained some street cred in the past few weeks with solid performances against both Wisconsin and Oregon.

"A Steve for every season," Jose mulled as we began listing his stiff competition.

Steve Breaston, WR, Arizona Cardinals: Breaston is under appreciated. He runs routes accurately and has good hands. His best season occurred in 2008-09, when he eclipsed 1000 receiving yards for the only time in his career. "I wouldn't use Steve on my fantasy team," Mr. Romero stated. "Can he go back to returning kicks?"

Who else makes the Hall of Steve?

Stephen Drew, SS, Arizona Diamondbacks: Drew is a solid player, hitting for .280 this season and playing quality defense every year. Unfortunately, he has one fatal flaw: he plays for the Diamondbacks.

LaRod Stephens-Howling, KR, Arizona Cardinals: A speedy youngster, Stephens-Howling is capable of stretching a defense and making a special teams unit pay for any mistake. "He's not a real Steve, though," Cory said as 11 p.m. AZT approached and no end was in sight. "He's my top LaRod, that's all I can say."

Steve Nash, PG, Phoenix Suns: End of discussion.
