According to a report in the Phoenix Business Journal, the Cardinals have put their money where their non-munchie mouths are.

Or at least old man Bidwell -- hey, get off my grass, you damn kids! -- is opposed to using chemicals to help sick people. One can only wonder what sorts of pills and such he takes to keep him from keeling over on a daily basis.

Do you think he sees the hypocrisy? Guessing not. At least as long as he's not making any money from it.

Cards give $10K against medical pot - Phoenix Business Journal
The Cardinals gave $10,000 to Keep AZ Drug Free today, according to the Arizona Secretary of State’s office. That group opposes 203 saying it could lead to more illegal drug use. Cardinals team President Michael Bidwill is listed by the anti-203 group as one of the main Valley leaders opposed to medical marijuana legalization.

And besides, how do the Cardinals think Deuce Lutui was able to come one Big Mac away from 400 pounds this summer?

*Disclaimer: We are not alleging any drug use on the part of Mr. Lutui. We are simply making a point about the medical efficacy of physician-prescribed marijuana in helping some patients, such as those suffering from cancer or HIV, to maintain a healthy weight. And by 'we', we mean me.
