GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- The Phoenix Coyotes announced today that the team's 2010-11 Training Camp will open on Saturday, Sept. 18 at Jobing.com Arena when players take the ice for the first time this season from 9:00 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Players will be available to the media at the conclusion of their on-ice sessions.
Training camp will last 19 days with the NHL regular season beginning on Thursday, Oct. 7 in Prague versus Boston. All Coyotes practices during training camp will be held at Jobing.com Arena and all practices are open to the public. The training camp roster will be broken up into three squads (Teams A, B, C) and their schedules will vary. Those media members seeking specific players should check with the Coyotes media relations department in advance for the best time to gain access to individuals as it will likely change daily.

In total, 57 players have been invited to attend the Coyotes' training camp. The roster must be trimmed to 23 players by Opening Night. Unlike other professional sports, there is no mandatory schedule for making roster cuts.
The Coyotes will open the regular season by playing two games against the Boston Bruins at O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic, on Saturday, Oct. 9 and Sunday, Oct. 10 as part of the 2010 Compuware NHL Premiere before returning home to host the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. at Jobing.com Arena.
