"It'll be a great fit for him," Bartelstein said this morning. "His energy fits right in with the energy of the team and the direction they're going. They play fast. Louis probably runs the floor better than anybody in the league. I think they're going to play bigger with big guys who can run fast like Louis and David Lee. "It's a great deal for Louis. We needed to find the right situation. I think he's going to prove he's more valuable than that. That's why we did a short-term deal. I still think people don't understand his value to a team. The fans in Phoenix understand what he means but most people don't understand that most of what he does doesn't show up on a statistical sheet. He makes a lot of sacrifices. There aren't a lot of guys who play that hard."
So long Lou, thanks for the hustle and energy. I'm sure Earl Clark will fill those shoes ably.
