Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) – Adam LaRoche had three hits and two runs scored, helping Barry Enright win his third game of the season, as Arizona doubled up Washington, 8-4, in the finale of a four-game set at Chase Field.
Enright (3-2) gave up two runs on six hits with three strikeouts and two walks over six frames. Kelly Johnson went 3-for-4 and Rusty Ryal had two hits, two runs scored and an RBI for Arizona, winners in two of three games.
Ross Detwiler (0-2) took the loss, yielding seven runs — four earned — on nine hits with five strikeouts and two walks over four-plus frames. Ryan Zimmerman hit a pair of homers, the fifth time he has accomplished the feat this season, for the Nationals, losers in two of three.
