I've been away for a few days in solitary confinement. No TV. No cell. No radio.
↵So today, when I was returning to town from this family dream vacation, I was a bit surprised to hear about some of the goings-on over at the The Hanger.
↵Mark Reynolds, it seems, got nailed in the noggin with a 95 mph fastball. Personally, I've never had this happen to me, so I am just going off-the-cuff, but that sounds less-than-fun.
↵One day after getting his clock cleaned, hard-ass manager extraordinaire puts Mark right back in the line-up.
↵Maybe he's thinking that it's best to get back on the proverbial horse quickly so young Reynolds doesn't lose his nerve?
↵Or maybe the lack of mustache has somehow impacted the decision-making process. I'm not really clear. Like I said, I was pretty far out-of-the-loop the last few days.
↵Help me out: what happened here and why (since we are on the subject) didn't a Nats player get hit in retaliation?
