It Was Inevitable: Smallest Crowd Ever At Chase FIeld

New, 1 comment

Wednesday’s announced attendance of 15,670 was the smallest crowd of the season, and in franchise history,  for a Diamondbacks game.

The game matched a pair of pitching titans: The Washington Nationals’ Craig Stammen and the D-backs’ Ian Kennedy (combined record of 9-12 going into the game).

↵

Former D-back Adam Dunn had two towering blasts into the seats deep in Uptown for the Nationals, who won 7-2. It was a bit comical to see the hundreds of fans doing The Wave in the ninth inning.
