NFL Injury Updates: Cardinals Lose FB Nehemiah Broughton, Trade For Charles Scott

According to multiple reports, the Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles have swapped rookies with cornerback Jorrick Calvin going to the NFC East and fullback Charles Scott coming to the NFC West. Both rookies were selected in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

Scott, who only carried the ball one time for the Eagles in preseason, will replace Cardinals fullback Nehemiah Broughton who tore his ACL in the preseason game against the Chicago Bears on Saturday.

Jorrick Calvin had fallen behind undrafted Marshay Green in the Cardinals cornerback depth chart so he was unlikely to make this week's roster cuts anyway.

The Cardinals will still have Reagan Maui'a to compete with Scott for limited playing in the Arizona offense that doesn't feature the fullback position.
