Jorrick Calvin, a cornerback out of mighty Troy University, has agreed to a 4-year deal with the Cardinals today. He is the second draft pick to sign, along with Stanford TE Jim Dray.

[Calvin] also served as the team's kickoff returner and averaged 25.7 yards per return, which ranked first in the Sun Belt Conference. He transferred to Troy following two seasons at East Central Community College in Mississippi.

Calvin has a lot of speed, and with proper development he could turn out to be a decent player for Arizona. Look for him to start out mainly on special teams.

For more on Jorrick Calvin, we take a look at Revenge Of The Birds:

Calvin missed the entire 2009 season after being ruled academically ineligible for missing an important assignment. At the time, he was with his family after the unfortunate deaths of two of his family members.
