Strasmas In The Desert, Break Out Your Tinsel And Prayer Rugs

Good news, baseball fans and/or fans of over-hyped, really young, potential super studs.

↵

Stephen Strasburg was a late scratch before last night's Nationals game when his arm wouldn't loosen up. This is routine business for most professional pitchers, but when you are talking about The Savior, you can never be too careful.

↵

Of course, there's always fallout when the fans come to see The Savior and are disappointed. Not so much with the average fan, mind you (who cares about them), but with the celebrity fans that are in attendance, like Clinton Portis and Andray Blatche, who had their poor little hearts broken by the news.

↵

This all works to our benefit here in Arizona, where a little Strasmas in July (technically August) can go a long way.

↵

The Savior wasn't scheduled to pitch against our beloved bumbling D-backs next week when the Nationals come to town for a four-game series, but now, with this scratch, there's a chance that He will take the mound and You can attend the game to bask in His presence.

↵

Then again, when it comes to The Savior, you can never be too careful, so don't get your hopes up like Portis and Blatche.

↵

If He has any kind of discomfort at all or perhaps just doesn't like playing inside a giant air-conditioned hanger then Strasmas could be canceled.

↵

Stay tuned for second-by-second updates on The Savior as his (possible) arrival draws near.
