Tulsa, OK (Sports Network) – Diana Taurasi scored 26 points to lead all scorers, and the Phoenix Mercury routed the Tulsa Shock, 123-91, at the BOK Center.
Candice Dupree added 23 points for the Mercury, who stand in second place in the Western Conference at 9-12, but are still 10 games behind first-place Seattle. Ketia Swanier contributed 17 points off the bench, while Tangela Smith had 13 in the win.
DeWanna Bonner recorded 11 points, and Penny Taylor 10 for Phoenix, which shot 56.8 percent from the field.
Kara Braxton scored 18 points to lead the Shock, who have lost three in a row and have the league’s worst record at 4-18. Shanna Crossley added 12 points in defeat.
