Suns to name agent Lon Babby President of Basketball Operations sometime next week. Babby will oversee the hiring of a General Manager.

Previous reports had Babby linked to the General Manager position, so this news is somewhat surprising. However, there had been rumblings that Babby was more in line for an executive position.
So, the search for a GM is still on. With former top candidate Dennis Lindsey now out of the running, who'll step up as a frontrunner?
