According to Sports 620-AM KTAR's John Gambadoro, the Phoenix Suns taken their original offer of five years and roughly $20 million and bumped it up to $25 million over five years, perhaps in response to Drew Gooden's new five-year, $32 million deal from the Milwaukee Bucks.
Gooden's deal was likely to assist in inflating the market for Frye's services and the Suns appear eager to hold onto him, given his production, chemistry, and fit with the team.
As of now, there are no reports that he has accepted the offer on the table. Keep it here for further updates.
