St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) – Chris Young hit a two-run homer and Barry Enright picked up a win in his major league debut, as Arizona salvaged the finale of a three-game series against the Cardinals with a 4-2 decision.

Enright (1-0), a 2007 second-round pick out of Pepperdine, lasted five frames and allowed one run while scattering four hits and four walks, fanning five.

Aaron Heilman allowed the go-ahead run to come to the plate in the ninth before closing it out for his third save of the season.

Chris Snyder had three hits for the Diamondbacks, who pulled out a win despite stranding nine runners and going 1-for-12 with runners in scoring position.

Jeff Suppan (0-4) remains winless on the season after allowing four runs — three earned — on nine hits and three walks in 5 2/3 innings for St. Louis.

Matt Holliday and Jason LaRue both knocked in a run for the Cardinals, who had won three of four coming in.
