Recap: Mercury Fall 95-85 To Mystics

Mystics get by Mercury

Washington, DC (Sports Network) – Crystal Langhorne led all scorers with 31 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, as the Washington Mystics earned a 95-85 win over the Phoenix Mercury at Verizon Center.

Lindsey Harding contributed 24 points and Nakia Sanford finished with 12 for Washington, which regrouped after having a four-game winning streak snapped at Chicago on Friday. The Mystics, who shot 54.4 percent from the field and 4- of-10 from three-point range, improved to 9-5 in the early going this season.

Diana Taurasi went for a team-high 18 points and DeWanna Bonner chipped in with 16 points and six boards off the bench for the Mercury, who have dropped four straight and six of their last eight. Phoenix fell to 5-9.
