Boston Red Sox Beat Diamondbacks 6-2 Despite Upton Homer
Justin Upton hit a home run over the Green Monster, but it wasn't enough as the Sox took down the Snakes on Wednesday evening. Former Sun Devil Dustin Pedroia also went yard.
Jon Lester went 7 strong innings for the win. New Diamondback Sam Demel pitched a clean eighth inning in his major league debut.
Arizona has now lost 12 straight road games, a new franchise record.

Diamondbacks Send Lopez to Face Lester, 4:10 p.m. PDT
On a day when the favored Spain lost at the World Cup, perhaps the D-backs can channel some of that fire when facing the Red Sox and Jon Lester. Also, maybe Steve Kerr will change his mind and SB Nation will gift us trained unicorns.
